Beginning in the ancient city of Varanasi and the holy land of Sarnath, the tour continues through the peaceful monasteries of Shravasti, the sacred Mahaparinirvana site of Kushinagar, the birthplace of Lord Buddha at Lumbini (Nepal), the historic city of Vaishali, the ancient learning centers of Rajgir and Nalanda, and finally concludes at Bodh Gaya, where Prince Siddhartha attained Enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree.

Day 1 – Arrival in Varanasi | Evening Ganga Aarti
Arrive at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, visit the famous Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the magnificent Ganga Aarti, one of India’s most spectacular spiritual ceremonies. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant atmosphere of the ghats before returning to your hotel.

Day 2 – Varanasi Temple Tour & Sarnath
Early in the morning, enjoy a peaceful sunrise boat ride along the River Ganges, witnessing centuries-old rituals performed on the historic ghats. After breakfast, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, followed by an excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.
Explore the Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, Ashoka Pillar Site, Archaeological Museum, Chaukhandi Stupa and several beautiful international monasteries representing Buddhist traditions from around the world.

Day 3 – Varanasi to Shravasti
After breakfast, depart for Shravasti, one of Buddhism’s most important pilgrimage destinations where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon seasons teaching the Dhamma.
Upon arrival, visit the sacred Jetavana Monastery, Ananda Bodhi Tree, Gandhakuti, Angulimala Stupa and other significant Buddhist monuments before checking into your hotel.

Day 4 – Shravasti to Kushinagar
Following breakfast, drive to Kushinagar, the revered place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana.
Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, the reclining Buddha statue, Ramabhar Stupa, Meditation Park and several international monasteries before relaxing at your hotel.

Day 5 – Kushinagar to Lumbini (Nepal)
After breakfast, proceed towards Lumbini, Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar, Holy Pond and the impressive monasteries built by Buddhist communities from different countries. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings before checking into your hotel.

Day 5 – Kushinagar to Lumbini (Nepal)
After completing immigration formalities, return to India and continue your journey to Vaishali, an important Buddhist site where Lord Buddha delivered his final sermon and announced his approaching Mahaparinirvana.
Visit the Ashokan Pillar, Relic Stupa, Kutagarasala Vihara and other historical remains before retiring for the night.

Day 7 – Vaishali – Rajgir – Nalanda – Bodh Gaya
After breakfast, begin your drive towards Rajgir, visiting the famous Griddhakuta (Vulture Peak), Venuvana Monastery and other important Buddhist landmarks.
Continue to the ancient Nalanda University Ruins, one of the world’s oldest centers of higher learning, before proceeding to Bodh Gaya. Check into your hotel upon arrival.

Day 8 – Full Day Bodh Gaya Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the world’s most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destination.
Visit the magnificent Mahabodhi Temple, the sacred Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana, Great Buddha Statue, Sujata Village, Niranjana River and several beautiful monasteries built by Thailand, Japan, Bhutan, Tibet, Myanmar, Vietnam and other Buddhist nations.
Enjoy the peaceful spiritual atmosphere before returning to your hotel.

Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Gaya Airport, Patna Airport or the nearest railway station according to your onward travel arrangements.
